Robert McNeese – Deckhand
Banjo can fingerpick through crab with dueling speed but the true origins of the nickname come from of his accent a Southern man who quips “Yes, ma’am” and “Yes, sir” while he was working on the Aleutian Spray. He grew up on a river in Louisiana with his grandpa building boats and catching catfish. He started fishing in Alaska in 2000 and has fished there on and off for about 13 years and knows Sean Dunlop who he claims tried to beat him up for making a mess in the galley. He biked over 200 miles from Anchorage to Homer to find work and was living on the beach when the Saga crew found him.
